World Series trophy repaired after beer can damages it

Whoa! Looks like Red Sox fans did a little bit too much celebrating last week.

The Boston Red Sox says their brand new World Series trophy has been repaired after it got hit by a flying beer can during the championship parade last Wednesday.

WMUR-TV reports that the damage occurred when a fan threw a beer can in the direction of the amphibious duck boat carrying players and their families.

A video shows the beer can striking the trophy as it was being held up, knocking a few of the golden pennants loose on the trophy.
