A golfer in Vancouver, Canada, says he scored his first-ever hole-in-one thanks to a bald eagle knocking his ball into the hole. The golfer says as he was walking towards the hole after taking the shot, the bald eagle swooped down and started taking an interest in his ball. He says the bird even tried to pick the ball up and fly off with it, but eventually just knocked it in the hole when it started flapping its wings to take off. And since that hole was a par 3, the eagle had actually helped the golfer score an eagle himself.

The golfer said, “Despite the rules of golf saying I need to replace it (which I did and missed the putt), this will still go down as my hole in one story for life.”
