Police in Greenville, South Carolina, say a woman stole an SUV on Friday after throwing a nonpoisonous snake at the driver. According to reports, Greenville Police say the suspect threw a live, black snake at the SUV’s driver after demanding she give up her keys. The suspect – identified as 29-year-old Hilmary Moreno-Berrios – then reportedly drove off in the stolen SUV with the snake still in it, before crashing through barricades that were set up for a pole vaulting exhibition. Police say Moreno-Berrios was charged with carjacking, malicious damage to property and five traffic violations, while the snake was released into the woods nearby. No video of the actual snake tossing, but you can see her crashing through barricades after she tried to get away.
