October is breast cancer awareness month, and several artists have teamed up for a new song titled, “Pink” in an effort to fight breast cancer. The song includes Dolly Parton, Sara Evans, Monica, Jordin Sparks, and Rita Wilson (who is a breast cancer survivor herself).
The song benefits Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer organization. You can purchase a download of the beautiful song Pink by donating here! Susan G Komen also has three branches in Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, and Milwaukee). You can donate specifically to the Wisconsin chapter here.
Each year breast cancer kills more than 42,000 women and men in the U.S. alone. Paula Schneider, CEO of Susan G. Komen, said, “As a breast cancer survivor who lost my mother to metastatic breast cancer, I know first-hand the toll this disease takes on entire families. There is life before breast cancer and life after. We all dream of a world when pink is just another color.”
