WILL FERRELL STARS IN NETFLIX COMEDY, “THE HAWK”

Will Ferrell is heading to the golf course in his latest comedy, “The Hawk,” arriving on Netflix July 16. The new series stars Ferrell as Lonnie Hawkins, a former world No. 1 golfer whose best days appear to be behind him. But with one major championship left to complete the career Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe his story is over.

The trailer, set to an energetic ’80s glam-rock soundtrack, showcases Ferrell’s signature over-the-top humor as Lonnie faces off against his son Lance, golf’s rising superstar played by Jimmy Tatro. The rivalry between father and son promises plenty of laughs, awkward moments, and heartfelt drama.

The impressive cast also includes Molly Shannon, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, and David Hornsby.
