KQ98 CARES FOR SEPTEMBER: HELPING SERVICES FOR YOUTH AND FAMILIES

Helping Services for Youth & Families is dedicated to helping children, teens, adults, and families create positive change in their lives and communities. Formerly known as Helping Services for Northeast Iowa, the organization provides education, advocacy, training, and programs designed to make Northeast Iowa a safer and healthier place to live.

Its services include domestic violence and child abuse advocacy, family education for new parents, youth mentoring, and family-friendly community activities. Helping Services also works to educate the public about emerging drug trends and provides training for alcohol and tobacco retailers.

The organization believes lasting change happens when communities work together. That’s why Helping Services partners with families, friends, neighbors, local organizations, and community coalitions to identify concerns and develop solutions.

Whether through education, mentorship, advocacy, or community involvement, Helping Services for Youth & Families is helping build stronger families and safer communities across Northeast Iowa.
