Oktoberfest in La Crosse is one of the most famous celebrations of its kind, bringing people together with music, pretzels, beer, and, of course, bratwursts. But the spirit of Gemütlichkeit doesn’t stop at the festival grounds. Every year, KQ98 and our parent company, Mid-West Family, make it a mission to share Oktoberfest with those who can’t attend in person. Many older La Crosse residents still crave the traditions, even if the trip to the grounds isn’t possible. That’s why we deliver brats right to their homes, ensuring they can still enjoy the flavors and joy of the season. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors—Paul’s Heating and AC, Olive Juice Quilts, and Bubba’s Meats—we’re able to spread smiles and keep the Oktoberfest spirit alive at La Crosse Housing Authority facilities. No matter your age, you can still celebrate, sing “Ein Prosit,” and be young at heart this Oktoberfest!
