Sam Hunt arrested for DUI in Nashville

Country music singer Sam Hunt was arrested this morning for driving under the influence.
E! News reported Hunt, 34, was booked into the Metro join by Metropolitan Nashville Police around 6:30 a.m. He was released on a $2,500 bond and is set to appear in court Jan. 17, 2020.
Police were called after Hunt was seen driving on the wrong side of the road swerving in and out of his lane. Officers said they could smell alcohol and Hunt had red, bloodshot and watery eyes. He struggled to provide his Tennessee license, which was on his lap and tried to give police his credit card and passport instead. He had a blood-alcohol level of 0.173.
