Helping make an impact in the community, KQ98 Cares, on behalf of Morrie’s Volkswagen La Crosse, donated $500 each to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater La Crosse and the Center for Breast Care.

“Everything we do comes to a good cause, and to finally get to end it by presenting the check is all great,” Ryan Riste of Morrie’s said.

This presentation was to help the efforts of the Annual Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival. The goal of the festival is to create a culture of health in the community.

“We cannot do the things that we do at the Boys and Girls Club and at Mayo Clinic Health System without the generosity of this community,” Nicole Brei with the Boys and Girls Club said.

Funds raised at the June event support the Center for Breast Care and healthy lifestyles programming for youth at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater La Crosse.

“On behalf of the Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival, I want to thank everyone for their generosity,” Heidi Odegaard of Mayo Clinic Health System said.

The next Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival will be held on June 20, 2020.
