UBER REVEALS WEIRDEST THINGS LEFT IN THEIR RIDES IN 2025

If you’ve ever stepped out of an Uber only to realize your phone, wallet, or keys are still in the back seat, you’re definitely not alone. Uber has released its 10th annual Lost & Found Index, highlighting the most commonly forgotten—and most unusual—items left behind by riders during the past year.
The most frequently forgotten items were predictable: phones, wallets, luggage, keys, headphones, clothing, passports, glasses, jewelry, and laptops. New York, Miami, and Chicago topped the list of the most forgetful cities, while Sundays were the most common day for lost items. July 17 was officially the most forgetful day of the year.
The truly memorable discoveries, however, were far stranger. Drivers reported finding a mini fridge, a single red-bottom Louboutin heel, a live fish, live butterflies, and even a child’s prosthetic eye.
Looking back over the past decade, Uber’s most unusual lost items have included a lobster, divorce papers, 500 grams of caviar, a toy poodle, and a massive 75-gallon fish tank. Other odd finds include dentures, breast milk, human hair, an ankle monitor, and 420 donuts.
