MEXICAN NAVY SHIP HITS BROOKLYN BRIDGE

A Mexican Navy ship hit the Brooklyn Bridge over the weekend, tragically taking the lives of two crewmembers and injured 20 others.

There were crewmembers standing on the masts when the ship collided with the bridge and some were left dangling when the masts snapped. The ship wasn’t supposed to go under bridge. Officials are blaming a loss of power, causing the ship to drift down the East River.

There was damage done to the Brooklyn Bridge but none of the damages were structural.
