ESCAPED ZEBRA IN TENNESSEE FINALLY CAPTURED BY OFFICIALS

Now, a zebra sighting in Tennessee is normally rare. But the odds of spotting one isn’t zero.

A pet zebra named Ed had been on the lam for about a week in Rutherford County, Tennessee, one day after he had been transferred to his new home. Ed had been seen running along a highway and authorities had even shut the road down in an attempt to capture the animal, but Ed ran into the woods and escaped again.

He was finally apprehended Sunday by the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. They caught him with a net and transported him home via helicopter.
