SWISS MAN BURIED IN SNOW TO BREAK WORLD RECORD

When it comes to a lot of world records, in my mind, I can’t help put think, “You didn’t need to do that.” Which is the case in this story.
Elias Meyer, of Switzerland broke a Guinness World Record by burying himself in snow and staying buried for 2 hours. Elias is a weightlifter by trade and decided that he wanted to break the record after finding out that no one cracked the 2 hour threshold.
The previous time was one hour, 45 minutes and 7 seconds. Elias said that the cold wasn’t what really bothered him during the attempt, but the pressure of the snow was bothersome.
