ACTION-PACKED “EENIE MEANIE” ON HULU IS A CAN’T MISS

“Eenie Meanie” may sound like a harmless kids’ flick, but don’t be fooled — it’s a gritty, blood-soaked heist thriller packed with wild car chases, violent twists, and over-the-top melodrama. The film stars Samara Weaving as Edie, a former foster youth who once served as a getaway driver for a Cleveland crime boss. Now trying to clean up her life and study economics, Edie is reluctantly dragged back into crime when her reckless ex-boyfriend John (Karl Glusman) racks up millions in debt to a ruthless kingpin played by Andy Garcia.

The only way out? A dangerous heist involving a casino and a luxury car stuffed with $3 million in winnings. Writer-director Shawn Simmons loads the movie with fast-paced action, clunky dialogue, and a wink of self-awareness, though the melodrama sometimes takes itself too seriously. Still, if you’re after chaotic fun, “Eenie Meanie” delivers.
