SEASON 2 OF “NOBODY WANTS THIS” OUT NOW ON NETFLIX

Netflix’s hit rom-com Nobody Wants This is back for Season 2 — and it’s louder, catchier, and slightly more self-aware. The new season leans heavily on pop perfection, with songs from Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan blasting through nearly every scene. The music doesn’t always match the moment, but it keeps the energy high — much like the show itself.

Kristen Bell returns as narcissistic podcaster Joanne, alongside Adam Brody’s charming “Hot Rabbi” Noah. Under new showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan (Girls), the series smooths out some of its rough edges, softening its portrayal of Jewish women and giving its characters a bit more heart.

Still, Nobody Wants This remains a breezy, bingeable romp — all sparkle, little substance. It’s the TV equivalent of a pop earworm: irresistibly catchy, occasionally irritating, and impossible to get out of your head. Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
