35TH ANNUAL HOUSEKEEPING OLYMPICS IN LAS VEGAS

The 35th Anniversary of the Housekeeping Olympics brought excitement and celebration to Las Vegas on Monday night. Held at the Michelob Ultra Arena, the annual event gathered hospitality workers from across the valley to compete in a lively showcase of skill, speed, and teamwork.

Nine teams participated in spirited challenges ranging from a vacuum race—where competitors literally rode their vacuums down the track—to a fast-paced mop relay, bed-making contest, and tucking sheets relay. Each event highlighted the precision and dedication required in the world of hospitality.

MGM Resorts officials emphasized that the Housekeeping Olympics serves as a tribute to the workers who keep guest experiences running smoothly every day. As Park MGM General Manager Andy Meese shared, these employees are the “lifeline” of the industry.

Although several teams earned podium spots, Aria and V-dara ultimately rose above the competition, claiming the overall victory at this year’s milestone event.
