JESSE’S TOP COUNTRY SONGS OF 2025
Written by Jesse Skelley on December 19, 2025
Around this time of year, every music influencer and blog gets to come out with their best of 2025 lists. So why not share a couple songs that I thought were the best of the year.
5. Whirlwind- Lainey Wilson
The title track of Lainey’s latest album by the same name really stood out as one of the year’s best. Even though she’s telling you that she’s always going to be wild, loving you is always going to be a breeze. Every time I hear this one, you picture someone on the back of a horse, with the wind blowing through their hair and it’s just such a beautiful song
4. Earle Byrd From Mexia- Muscadine Bloodline
How can you not get into a song about an old moonshiner?
3. On The Red River- Turnpike Troubadours
It’s always so striking just how clear of a picture Turnpike paints with their songs.
2. Eatin’ Big Time- Tyler Childers
Couldn’t tell you how many times over this I howled along to this one over the last few months.
1. West Texas Degenerate- Treaty Oak Revival
It’s probably recency bias making this number one, but it’s just so good!
