White Castle recently dropped a DIY video showing how to turn its iconic mini burgers into holiday stuffing, and the internet had thoughts. One viewer dubbed it “the perfect recipe for a family fight,” while another memorably called it “murder burger stuffing.”
The recipe starts innocently enough: 10 to 12 original sliders, no cheese or pickles. From there, things escalate quickly. The burgers are torn into pieces, mixed with diced celery, black pepper, thyme, sage, and chicken stock, then baked in a casserole dish at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes. White Castle promises the result is “unexpectedly delicious” — and claims it’ll be the first dish to disappear at your holiday dinner.
Brave souls can even stuff a 12-pound turkey with it, or experiment with jalapeño burger variations. Love it or loathe it, one thing’s certain: this stuffing is unforgettable.
