WOMAN WRITES JINGLE FOR DR PEPPER AND THEY ACTUALLY USED IT IN A COMMERCIAL

If you’ve ever dreamed of writing a commercial jingle, the traditional route usually involves working your way up through marketing or advertising agencies. But one TikTok creator just proved there’s a much faster path: go viral.
A woman named Romeo, who goes by @RomeosShow on TikTok, casually posted a short video last month singing a playful “theme song” for Dr Pepper. There was no flashy production—just her singing, “Dr Pepper baby. It’s good and nice. Doo, doo, doo.”
@romeosshow @Dr Pepper please get back to me with a proposition we can make thousands together. #drpepper #soda #beverage
In the caption, Romeo joked that she had to post it before someone else “got sent this in a dream and steals it,” and she tagged Dr Pepper asking for a proposition. The clip exploded, racking up more than 42 million views and millions of likes.
Dr Pepper noticed—and moved fast. This week, the company unveiled a new commercial featuring Romeo’s song and her actual voice. The ad even aired during the College Football Playoff National Championship, turning a spontaneous TikTok into a national TV moment.
