KQ98 CARES FOR FEBRUARY: WISCONSIN FFA
Written by Jesse Skelley on February 4, 2026
National FFA Week, running February 21–28, shines a spotlight on agricultural education and the life-changing impact of FFA programs across the country. In Wisconsin alone, more than 27,000 students are involved in FFA, contributing to a nationwide membership of over 1 million young leaders.
Throughout the week, local chapters host creative and community-focused events like donkey basketball, pancake breakfasts, Ag Olympics, farm tours, and service projects. One major highlight is FFA Day on the Hill, when students head to the state capitol to meet lawmakers, share their stories, and advocate for the future of agriculture.
February 26 is Give FFA Day, a national fundraising effort that supports leadership development, hands-on learning, conferences, and scholarships. As Section 3 State FFA Reporter Corbyn Weber shared, FFA builds confidence, public speaking skills, and leadership. National FFA Week is a celebration of agriculture—and the next generation shaping its future.
