WOMAN GETS STUCK IN AUTOMATIC CAR WASH

A routine trip through the car wash turned into a soapy nightmare for one Pennsylvania woman.
Felicia Sullivan says she was inside the Waynesboro Waterworks car wash in Waynesboro when the system suddenly malfunctioned, shutting down mid-cycle. With her car still covered in soap, the doors closed and refused to reopen — trapping Sullivan inside for nearly an hour.
In a TikTok video documenting the ordeal, Sullivan can be seen trying to use the emergency button inside the wash, only to discover it wasn’t working either. She knocked on the doors and tried calling for help, but no one outside seemed to notice.
Eventually, Sullivan called police. Officers, along with the car wash owner, arrived and were able to free her about 45 minutes later.
Thankfully, Sullivan says neither she nor her car were harmed. She also holds no hard feelings toward the owner, who apologized profusely — and even made it up to her with a stack of gift cards.
