FLORIDA AIRPORT ANNOUNCES BAN ON PAJAMAS

Tampa International Airport stirred up social media this week after jokingly announcing a “ban” on pajamas in the terminal. The tongue-in-cheek post, following an earlier fake Crocs prohibition, poked fun at the ongoing debate over what Americans should wear while flying.
The joke landed in the middle of renewed political commentary sparked by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who recently suggested travelers should “dress a little better” for flights. While the airport made clear pajamas and Crocs are still welcome, the internet quickly turned the gag into a full-blown culture war.
Some users applauded the idea of dressing up, sharing nostalgic images of glamorous air travel from decades past. Others blasted the focus on fashion while airlines struggle with delays, cramped seating and rising costs.
With more than 2,000 flight delays reported the same morning, many travelers had a simple message: fix the delays first. Then, maybe, we can talk about pajamas.
