7AM Shout-out with the Pledge of Allegiance by DUKE. It was January 22, 1973 when Former President Lyndon Baines Johnson died at His ranch in Texas, He was 64. It was not the top new story of that day. Johnson had joined the US Naval reserve after college in the Summer of 1940. 3 days after Pearl Harbor was attacked He asked the Secretary of the Navy for a Combat assignment. For His Gallantry in the Southwest Pacific, Johnson was awarded a Silver Star. Today We remember LBJ.
