La Crosse “For Goodness Sake” Project Aims to Help Those in Need This Holiday Season

Written by on November 19, 2021

The La Crosse County, “For Goodness Sake” project is in full swing this holiday season. It’s a year round program that is able to serve and help those in need throughout the community. They’re always seeking donations of hygiene products (especially hotel sized), gift cards, and cash to purchase needed items.

The program is designed for current clients working with staff in the La Crosse County Health and/or Human Services Departments. Members of the community, organizations and business’ sponsor individuals or families who may be in need over the holidays.

A donation of cash or gift cards can be used for those that are not sponsored at the end of the project. The Project Coordinator of the program, Lindsey Schwarz-Nichols stopped into the studio with Brandon Scott to talk more in depth about the project.

If you’re able to help, too, you can email Lindsey: lschwarz@lacrossecounty.org or call/text: 608-473-3538 for more information.
