“Neighbors Day” is a family-friendly event put on by Habitat for Humanity La Crosse, and for the community to come together to help beautify the City of La Crosse by providing the elderly and disabled citizens of La Crosse with help cleaning up their yards for spring.

As a volunteer, you would be doing simple tasks such as; raking yards, trimming shrubs, washing windows, turning gardens, and cleaning up the marsh. You will be given the products and tools necessary to complete the tasks, and will also be served lunch for your hard work! Bring your friends or your family members and make a fun day of it!

Brandon Scott in the morning talked to Kahya Fox, the executive director from Habitat for Humanity La Crosse, about the “Neighbors Day” event, and two million dollar donation they received from author and philanthropist, MacKenzie Scott. Her team personally picked the La Crosse Area chapter to be among the 84 recipients awarded the gift. Listen below.
