THE SEARCH FOR MARTY MCFLY’S GUITAR

Back To The Future will always be one of those movies you see on your cable guide and you have to stop and watch the entire thing through. Without a doubt, a certified classic. Everyone knows the scene where they’re at the Enchantment Under The Sea dance and Marty leads the band with a ripping rendition of “Johnny B Goode”. Iconic, right?

But did you know that the guitar played in that scene has been missing for 40 years?

The original guitar is either a 1960 or ’61 model that was rented from Norman’s Rare Guitars. It was returned to the store after filming but no one knows where it ended up after that. Some of the stars of the movie got together with Gibson to put together a short YouTube video asking for help in finding the instrument. Check it out below!
