Nick Phillips and Heather Schroering just pulled off one of the most unusual weddings Las Vegas has ever seen — a full-on “chicken tender dip”–themed ceremony, officiated by none other than Hellmann’s mascot, “Manny Mayo.”
The pair won a Hellmann’s wedding contest that came with a ceremony, reception, pro photographer, $5,000 for travel, and plenty of mayo-inspired flair. Self-described “condiment sommeliers,” Nick and Heather say the theme was “very on-brand” — after all, he even proposed by hiding the engagement ring in a sauce ramekin.
With just under three weeks to prepare, Hellmann’s handled most of the logistics, even suggesting a “Hellmann’s color palette” dress code. Guests signed waivers waiving “moral rights,” and Manny Mayo sealed the deal with the line: “Like chicken tender dip and chicken tenders, marriage is a beautiful union of two special flavors.”
The couple later shared their vows — naturally — at Chippendale’s.
