PERSONALIZED BIRTHDAY CAKE FAIL GOES VIRAL

On August 12, TikTok user @k_bug68 shared her hilarious experience ordering a simple “Happy Birthday Steve” cake from Giant Eagle. Instead of a neatly decorated dessert, the cake arrived with the message scribbled off-center in childlike handwriting.

The bakery worker sheepishly apologized, saying, “I’m sorry, I did my best.” Far from being upset, the office loved it. The video has since racked up over 13 million views and 1.8 million likes, with commenters praising the cake’s unintentional charm.

Giant Eagle responded by commending their employee’s effort and promising additional training. Meanwhile, @k_bug68 said she looks forward to ordering from the same worker again, calling the mishap “chef’s kiss” perfection for her fun-loving office. Sometimes the sweetest memories come from imperfections—and Steve’s birthday cake was definitely one of them.
