MAN ARRESTED FOR NOT LEAVING AIRPORT CLUB

A Delta Sky Club visit in Palm Beach turned into a viral fiasco after a man refused to leave the lounge without proper credentials. The incident, which occurred July 5 at Palm Beach International Airport, was captured on police body cam and has now spread online.

According to reports, lounge staff repeatedly asked the man to leave, explaining he lacked valid membership or boarding pass access. When police arrived, he grew hostile, allegedly snapping, “Get away from me, you’re disgusting!” Officers gave him the option to walk out peacefully or face trespassing charges. He stalled, insisted he was a member, and ultimately was cuffed and removed.

Delta has cracked down on lounge entry in recent years, requiring both membership and a same-day Delta or SkyTeam boarding pass. Whether he misunderstood or just felt entitled, fighting staff and police was a losing game. As one observer put it: play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
