REALISTIC HALLOWEEN DISPLAY CAUSES HEADACHE FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT

A South Carolina couple’s Halloween display has once again set the internet ablaze—literally. Amanda Peden and Sam Lee have transformed their Fountain Inn home into what looks like a fully engulfed house fire. Using clever lighting, smoke machines, and perfect camera angles, the duo’s creation is so realistic that people continue to report it to local authorities, even two years after its debut.

According to Fire Chief Russell Alexander, his department remains in close contact with the couple to ensure no real danger exists. “We’ve already had four calls this year,” he said, noting that while trained eyes can tell it’s fake, it’s convincing enough to fool many passersby.

Amanda has even posted warnings online: “My house is on fire (not a real fire)… Please don’t call the fire department!”

While some critics say the display causes unnecessary panic, others call it a Halloween masterpiece—fiery proof of creative dedication.
