WOMAN HORRIFIED NEW LEATHER PANTS MAKE “FART NOISES”

We’ve all had wardrobe mishaps—but none quite like TikToker Gaby’s viral “faux leather fail.” In a clip that’s racked up more than 3 million views, Gaby (@gabymixco) hilariously exposed her Gap pants for making an unmistakable—and highly embarrassing—sound whenever she squats.

“Gap, you’ve got some explaining to do,” she joked, as the pants emitted a noise eerily similar to a fart or a quacking duck each time she bent down. Viewers were in stitches, flooding the comments with lines like, “Did Gap collab with Aflac?”

Experts say the culprit is friction—when faux leather rubs together, it can squeak or squawk with every move. TikToker Christi Moeller recommends cotton underwear and a little leather conditioner to stop the noise.

Until then, Gaby’s advice rings true: always do a few squats in the fitting room before buying.
