CHRIS STAPLETON SET TO AIR SUPER BOWL COMMERICAL
Written by Jesse Skelley on February 4, 2026
Chris Stapleton is returning to the Super Bowl spotlight—just not in the way fans might expect. The country star appears in a new 30-second commercial for Traveller Whiskey, the Buffalo Trace Distillery product he helped create with Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley. The ad, airing ahead of the big game, features Stapleton playing “The Star-Spangled Banner” on guitar while sweeping shots of the Kentucky distillery roll by.
The scene then shifts to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where Stapleton famously performed the national anthem at the 2023 Super Bowl. The spot ends with Stapleton reflecting on craftsmanship and patience, noting that “perfect moments don’t just happen—they’re made.”
Traveller Whiskey launched in 2024 and quickly made headlines as the first official whiskey of Major League Baseball. While Stapleton jokes he’s no expert beyond “consumption,” he’s called the collaboration a surreal, art-filled experience—and one he’s clearly proud to raise a glass to.
