Military shout out: Jim Hammell

On this day, KQ98 would like to honor the late Jim Hammell of Caledonia.

Family and friends remember Jim as a Winnebago Valley Farmer and family man. He celebrated 63 years of marriage to Ila Kubitz on June 18. Together, they raised two sons and enjoyed two granddaughters.

Jim served in the United States Army during the Korean Era from 1954 to 1965 in the 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Thank you for your service, and rest in peace, Jim.
