Trisha Yearwood to Perform Special Tribute at AMC’s

We’ve lost a lot of great country music artists this year including Kenny Rogers, John Prine, Charlie Daniels, Joe Diffie, and more. Trisha Yearwood will perform a special song, and tribute, at the ACM Awards to those who in the country music community who have died in 2020.

Trisha took to social media yesterday to announce, “I’m honored to perform ‘I’ll Carry You Home’ @ACMawards on September 16, paying tribute to those we have lost in the Country Music industry.”

“I’ll Carry You Home” is a song that appears on Yearwood’s most recent album, Every Girl, which she released in August of 2019. The lyrics are beautiful and touch the hearts of all who have lost someone, and give us a sense of peace when thinking of those who have passed on.

“I’ll carry you home / I’ll carry you home / So rest your heart easy / I’ll carry you home,” Yearwood sings in the chorus.

Trisha Yearwood joins a long list of performers this year including; Eric Church, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Morgan Wallen, Tim McGraw, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, and more!

The ACM Awards will air Thursday, September 16th on CBS at 7p, with Keith Urban hosting from the Opry House in Nashville. This year’s awards show will broadcast from three venues in Nashville, including the Ryman Auditorium, the Bluebird Cafe and the Grand Ole Opry House.
