In Memory of PVT. Henry M. Guttormson.

It is Veteran’s Day, a time to pay homage to all Veterans, Thank You does not seem like enough. Today We picked PVT. Henry M. Guttormson of Lanesboro, Mn. Bauer’s Market and Garden Center of Lacresent salutes PVT. Guttormson who joined the Army in 1917. He was assigned to the 1st infantry in WWI. In June of 1918 He was sent to the front (trench War fare) in France. PVT. Guttormson was killed in Action near the Aisne River on August 6th, 1918. He is buried in the American Cemetery near Romagne, France. He was killed 3 months before the Armistice was signed, ending World War I. The Lanesboro legion Club is named in His Honor.
