Bauer’s Market and Garden Center of Lacresent brings Us the KQ98 Salute with DUKE. It was one year ago on March 11 when The World Health Organization officially declared Covid-19 to be a pandemic. It was 102 years ago on March 11th, 1918 when a global flu pandemic was first reported among US Army soldiers stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. 46 men in uniform would die of the flu in 3 days. The worldwide outbreak would claim an estimated 40 million people. Today We salute infantry personal who have ever been stationed at Fort Riley. Thank You.
