KQ98 Salute – 5 Sullivan Brothers

KQ98 Salute for St. Paddy’s Day at 7AM with Bauer’s Market and Garden Center. Today We salute the Memory of the 5 Sullivan Brothers from Waterloo, Iowa. The 5 Brothers enlisted in the United States Navy in January of 1942, after the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor. All 5 Five were assigned to serve aboard the USS Juneau, a light cruiser. On November 13th, 1942 at the Battle of Guadalcanal, the USS Juneau was sunk by a Japanese Torpedo. On that Fateful day, all 5 Sullivan brothers were killed. Here is a Salute to George, Frank, Joe, Matt and Al Sullivan, Long Remembered.
