Simone Biles Sets Record-Boyfriend is Proud

Simone Biles is incredibly talented, and her boyfriend knows it!
Simone’s boyfriend, Jonathan Owens, watched Simone compete for the first time on Sunday. Just like the rest of us, he was in awe! Owens, who plays for the NFL’s Houston Texans, posted the following message on Instagram.
“What an amazing experience,” Owens wrote, “First time getting to watch you compete in person and you didn’t disappoint. It’s so cool that I get to watch you do what you love, and be the best at that!! I’m so proud of you my lil champ. Trials up next and you already know I’m there!! Love you baby.”
Simone Biles won her seventh U.S. title Sunday night, more than any woman in history.

According to TODAY, “Biles also celebrated her win by revealing the name of the sequined goat — a play on the acronym “GOAT,” or “greatest of all time” — that she has started including on her leotards. “Introducing GOLDIE,” wrote Biles, thanking fans for inspiring the name.”
Biles will now compete in the Olympic trials. She’s expected to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics, which begin in late July. Best wishes, Simone. You’ve got this!
