Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are celebrating a milestone! The country couple tied the knot on this day (October 6th) in 1996 making this year their 25th wedding anniversary. Congrats!!
In 1996, Hill was the opening act for McGraw on his “Spontaneous Combustion Tour.” At the time, she was newly engaged to Scott Hendricks who was a record producer, but their engagement only lasted three months and they separated in April of that year. Then, the sparks flew between her and Tim and the rest is history.
McGraw reveals in a TikTok video that he made multiple proposals to Hill after a period of dating, but she declined every one of them. McGraw says, “she said, I’m not going to get involved with another country singer. It’s just not going to work out.” He then shares the moment she FINALLY said yes.
Faith and Tim have three daughters together. Gracie, 24, Maggie, 22, and Audrey, 19.
