February is the month where most of us are over winter. There isn’t much to do as it’s still pretty cold, with more and more festivals and fairs announcing their plans for spring and summer. The snow turns gray, sunshine seems to lack most days and spring fever is within all of us. However, there are a few things to look forward to.
2022 Winter Olympics: Friday, February 2nd
The Winter Olympics kick off February 2nd in Beijing, China with the opening ceremonies being televised on NBC Friday, February 4th.
Super Bowl LVI: Sunday, February 13th
The Cincinnati Bengals will play in their first Super Bowl since 1988, vying to win their first Lombardi Trophy as they take on the Los Angeles Rams who haven’t won the big game since 2000.
South Park: Season 25
The 25th season of South Park returns on February 2nd. If you’re a fan, you’re probably pretty excited. A teaser trailer is below.
Daytona 500: Sunday, February 20th.
The so-called Super Bowl of racing, the Daytona 500, will take place Sunday, February 20th. Michael McDowell is the defending champion who earned his first career win in 2021.
Jackass Forever: Friday, February 4th
The sixth installment of the Jackass movie series, Jackass Forever will hit theaters on February 4th. Johnny Knoxville, who stars in the films, apparently performed a stunt with a bull that left him with a brain injury. Watch the trailer below.
