Jeep and Razor Create an Off-Road Scooter

Razor, the company that creates scooters has teamed up with Jeep to create an electric scooter that is designed to go off-road like a Jeep SUV.

The Razor x Jeep RX200 features heavy duty, eight-inch tires with a tread that can handle “rough terrain, if not extreme rock crawling.” It also has a 200-watt motor, a quarter horsepower, a 40-minute battery life, and it can go up to twelve miles-per-hour which may not blow your hair back in the wind, but remember, it’s a scooter. So, you might not break your collarbone if you hit a pothole on this thing, but still what could go wrong?

It’s advertised for “adult” use, but do we really think that’s how it’s going to go once the kids get a look at it? Especially since the maximum rider weight is 154 pounds. The scooter is available now for a price of $499.
