What Is Your New Year’s Tradition?

What is your new year’s tradition?  Did it start with watching the ball drop in Times Square, counting down the seconds until midnight and then singing Auld Lang Syne?  Was a toast to the new year made?  And what do you do today?  Black eyed peas and collard greens for good luck and prosperity?  January 1^st is bloody mary day so maybe you partake of that tradition.   A Spanish celebration is to eat 12 grapes that represent the 12 strikes of the clock and the 12 months ahead.  Maybe you stayed up to watch the fireworks from Grandad Bluff.  Or you could always clean your home today…signifying sweeping away bad luck and allowing good luck to enter your home.
