Bauer’s Market and Garden center Pledge of Allegiance with DUKE today salutes an American Legend. Chuck Yeager passed away on Pearl Harbor Day (of course), at the Age of 97. Chuck, originally from West Virginia enlisted in the US Army Air Corps in September of 1941. He began His career as an aircraft mechanic and retired from The US Air Force as a Brigadier General in 1975. Along the way, He flew in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He won a Purple Heart, Bronze star, distinguished service cross, Distinguished Flying Cross, literally medals and awards too numerous to mention. The Incredible life of Charles Elwood Yeager !
