Bauer’s Market and Garden Center 7AM Pledge of Allegiance with DUKE. Today We salute the Late Tom Ellingson of Spring Grove, MN. Tom was very athletic and scholastic as a young Man and Graduated from Spring Grove High and Luther College. After graduating from Luther in 1966, He enlisted in the US Navy attending basic training and flight school in Pensacola, Florida. Tom was deployed to Vietnam, serving in the Mekong Delta. He was in Saigon at the start of the TET offensive in 1968. Returning to the States, He was a battalion commander at Great Lakes training Center in Illinois. Tom was always Friendly and a pleasant Person to chat with at ball games over the years. After His time in the service Tom had worked in many parts of the world. Tom would have been 77 in January, Condolences to His Friends and Family.
