Today’s 7AM shout-Out with the Pledge of allegiance from DUKE is brought to Us from Bauer’s Market and Garden Center in LaCrescent. Baseball Legend Tommy Lasorda crossed Home Plate last week at the Age of 93. Tommy managed the LA Dodgers for 20 years from 1976 to 1996, winning two World Series along the way. Lasorda was famous for His directness and occasional explosiveness. ( Google: Lasorda reaction to Kingman homeruns 1978). Tommy was a high school prospect graduating in 1944, but before He got started in Major League baseball He served a stint in the US Army until 1947. So long Tommy and Thanks for the Memories!
