Guy Fieri debuts ‘Apple Pie Hot Dog’

Food guru, Guy Fieri has whipped up his latest creation. He takes a hot dog, puts it into a flaky pie crust, smothers it in bacon jam, tops it off with apple mustard drizzle, demerara sugar and apple pie spice. Doesn’t that sound like a taste of heaven?

Speaking of heaven, one of the famous lines in the movie ‘Field of Dreams’ is when Kevin Costner’s character was asked, “is this heaven?” in which he responds, “it’s Iowa.” Ironically, the apple pie hot dog will debut at the MLB Field of Dreams game this Thursday night in Dyersville, Iowa (the setting of the movie) when the New York Yankees play the Chicago White Sox.
