The Weekend Three: September 24-26, 2021

The Weekend Three highlights three events that take place each weekend across the Tri-States. These events are anything from fundraisers, festivals and fairs to other various community functions. If interested, feel free to take part in any of these events and support local communities.

1. Warrens Cranberry Festival – Warrens, WI

The 48th annual Warrens Cranberry Festival is happening now through Sunday, September 26th. Warrens is the “Cranberry Capital of Wisconsin” and hosts the worlds largest cranberry festival. The festival has grown from 3,500 visitors and 75 vendor booths during the first festival in 1973, to over 130,000 visitors and over 1,000 vendor booths to this day. Enjoy arts, crafts, flea, antique, farm market booths, cranberry harvest tours (Friday and Saturday) and a gigantic parade Sunday at 1pm. Admission is FREE. Go here for more information.

2. Chaseburg American Cancer Society Sole Burner Event – Chaseburg, WI

The 16th annual Chaseburg Sole Burner Event is happening Saturday, September 25th at the Chaseburg Village Park, 401 Depot Street in Chaseburg. Registration will be at 11am along with the “best ever chicken” drive thru chicken que. Activities include vendors, a health fair, a live dessert auction, silent auction, bucket raffle, wine cork raffle, Home Depot kids event, bounce house, face painting, live music, raffle drawing, a variety of soups and more. 3. Chloe Kay Eckelberg Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser – West Salem, WI

Features in West Salem will host the Chloe Kay Eckelberg Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser on Saturday, September 25th from 12pm – 5pm. The event is FREE unless you are bowling. Sign up for two bowling shifts (noon and 2:30pm). Four person teams are $80. There will be silent auction items with online bidding an option. All the proceeds benefit the Chloe Kay Eckelberg Memorial Scholarship awarded to students attending a university or technical school the following year and involved in the racing community at La Crosse Speedway.
