La Crosse Winter Roots Festival This Weekend

The La Crosse Winter Roots Festival takes place this Saturday, February 12th at the newly constructed Riverside Ballroom inside the La Crosse Center.

The festival is a way to bring people out to celebrate and support live music and the culture of our beautiful city and area. Enjoy the music, regional cuisine, artists, brewers, distillers and more. The Driftless Makers Exchange will be on hand from 2pm-7pm bringing in over 20 local artists and makers. Browse and shop many things including textiles, jewelry, woodworking, botanicals, candle making, baked goods and more. This part of the event is FREE and for all ages.

Tickets will be required for the musical entertainment. The tentative musical schedule is below.
3:00PM: Dan Sebranek & Company
4:00PM: Reed Grimm
5:45PM: Gregg Hall & The Wrecking Ball
6:45PM: TUGG
8:00PM: The Remainders
9:30PM: Trippin Billies (national Dave Matthews tribute band)

The event will also support those in need in the local area. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse in an effort to eliminate hunger in the community. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item at entry.

General admission advance tickets are $20 for a 3:00PM entry. Tickets day of will be $25. You can buy online here or at the La Crosse Center box office.
