Fan Runs On Field During Super Bowl LVI

Written by on February 14, 2022

Why fans choose to run on the field during sporting events is anyone’s guess. Is it so they can get their fifteen minutes of fame or some other reason? Any fine or the threat of jail time doesn’t seem to deter EVERY person as there is always that one fan that may have indulged in a few too many adult beverages, and somehow musters up the courage to think it’s a good idea. Or they have some personal agenda they’re trying to get as many eyeballs on to witness.

A fan decided it was a good idea to run on the field during the third quarter of Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. He had lots of room to run, even got close the the Los Angeles Rams huddle before eventually be taken down by security. In fact, at one point a Rams player attempted to chase him to get him away from the other players.

The man appeared to be holding some kind of banner or sign, although it’s unclear exactly what it said. Check out the photos below.

At the time of this writing, there’s no word on his identity or what fine he may face, but pretty sure it’ll be hefty. Common sense should prevail here, just don’t do it!!
