Girl Scout Cookies On Sale This Weekend in Wisconsin

‘Tis the season for Girl Scout cookies. A lot of people look forward to these tasty treats every year.

The Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland, who have over 5,000 members, will begin selling their delicious cookies this Saturday, March 5th and continuing until April 10th. Some favorites like, thin mints, caramel delites, peanut butter patties, and last years new cookie, the toast-yay’s will join this years new flavor, the Adventurefuls. The Girl Scouts are about more than just the cookies. They also teach young girls life skills that will benefit them as they get older. Things like money management, leadership, people skills, decision making, how to run a business, etc.

Sally Egan, with the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland, stopped into the studio and talked to Brandon Scott in the morning about the cookie flavors, the benefits the Girl Scouts provide to young girls, how they can become part of a troop and more. Check it out below.
